System performance professionals trust CMG as the preeminent organization
for the exchange of information about practical applications of
computer performance evaluation methodologies for systems, computers,
mainframes, and networks. The Southern Computer Measurement Group
(SCMG) provides regional events several times yearly to make such
exchanges convenient and accessible.
CMG, the Association of System Performance Professionals, was founded
in 1975. SCMG was chartered in 1976 as its first regional group.
These not-for-profit groups promote the exchange of technical information
among professionals charged with the measurement and management
of computer systems and networks from a performance, capacity, and
cost recovery standpoint.
