Next
time, come and tell a friend, or bring your boss!
|
|
Are you a performance analyst or capacity planner? |
|
|
Do you work with enterprise-wide heterogeneous computer systems? |
|
|
Do you sometimes want or need someone you can talk to that understands what you're talking about? |
|
|
Can you afford to be away from the office for one day to learn the from experts in your field? |
If
you answered yes to any of these questions, you need to come to
the next meeting of the greater metropolitan New York Computer Measurement
Group (NYCMG)!
Our meetings (3 -
4 per year) will answer your needs! We invite speakers that have worked
on problems that you probably have, and they're willing and delighted to share
their knowledge with you. Topics and platforms covered at our meetings
often address OS/390 mainframes and subsystems, UNIX across many platforms (Sun,
HP, IBM, and more), Windows NT, Oracle and DB2 in the database world, TCP/IP,
web performance design and tuning, and web scalability. It's likely that
you can go back to your office with a plan in hand for your most immediate
performance or capacity problem after attending just one of our meetings!
Cost: just $55
per meeting, plus an annual membership dues fee of $10.
Meetings include a continental breakfast, a terrific buffet lunch, and cookies,
soft drinks and coffee at the breaks. Speakers are encouraged to bring
handouts of their sessions for everyone.
And the 'vendor
area' offers you the opportunity to see new products and services that are
available for your organization.
NYCMG is the not-for-profit
Questions and comments are welcome and encouraged and should be sent to NYCMG.
Hope to see you at our next meeting!
